The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has invited applications for recruitments at the posts of Scientists. Candidates can apply latest by September 30.

Eligibility criteria:
Age limit:

• Candidates applying for the posts should not be more than 35 years.

Educational qualification:

• Scientist- B (Medical/Epidemiology): Candidates applying for this post should possess an MBBS degree recognised by MCI.
• Scientist -B (Veterinary Science): Candidates applying for this post should have B.V.Sc and AH Degree recognised by VCI.
• Scientist - B (Life Science): Candidates applying for this post should have a Master's Degree in life sciences/nutrition/ bio-chemistry/ biotechnology/physiology/microbiology/entomology/environment sciences/molecular biology/lab science/pharmaceutical science. Or the candidates should have acquired a second class MSc/relevant postgraduate degree and a Ph.D degree in a relevant subject.
• Scientist- B (Biostatistics): Candidates applying for this post should have a first class Master's degree in biostatistics. Or candidates should have acquired a second class MSc/relevant postgraduate degree and a Ph.D degree in a relevant subject.
• Scientist- B (Anthropology/Social Behavioral Science): Candidates applying for this post should have acquired a first class Master's degree in sociology/medical social work. Or candidates should have acquired a second class MSc and a Ph.D degree in a relevant subject.

How to apply:

• In order to apply, candidates are required to log in to the official website. On duly filling the application forms, candidates are required to send a hard copy of the same to "the Director General, ICMR, V. Ramalingaswami Bhawan, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029". Candidates should send the demand draft along.
• Also, a scanned copy of application may be sent through e-mail at ID: sc_b_2014@icmr.org.in

Application fee:

• Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 in the form of a crossed demand draft of any bank drawn in favour of Director General, ICMR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.
