Rajasthan Postal Circle announces job vacancy

Rajasthan Postal Circle has invited applications for recruitment to various posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by September 13.

  • Total posts: 13 posts

Post names:
  1. Postal assistant: 10 posts
  2. Sorting Assistant: 3 posts
  3. Postman: 5 posts    
  4. MTS: 5 posts

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
  1. Postal assistant: The candidates should have passed Class 12 with English as compulsory subject.
  2. Sorting Assistant: The candidates should have qualified Class 12 with English as compulsory subject.
  3. Postman: The candidates should have passed Class 10.
  4. MTS: The candidates should have passed Class 10.

Age limit:
The candidates applying for either of the posts should be aged between 18 and 27 years.
Sports qualification:
The sportsperson should have represented a state or a country in the national/ international competitions. Or they should have represented a university in inter-university tournaments. Or the candidates should have represented the state school team in the national sports/ games for the school conducted by the All India School Sports/ Games Federation. Or the sportsperson should have been awarded national award in physical efficiency under the national physical efficiency drive.
Pay Scale:
  1. Postal assistant: Rs 5,200-20,200 + Grade pay Rs 2,400
  2. Sorting Assistant: Rs 5,200-20, 200 + Grade pay Rs 2,000
  3. Postman: Rs 5,200-20,200 + Grade pay Rs 1, 800    
  4. MTS: Rs 5,200-20, 200 + Grade pay Rs 2,400

Selection process:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the field/ skill test.
How to apply:
In order to apply, the candidates are required to send their duly filled application forms to Chief Postmaster General, Rajasthan Circle, Sardar Patel Marg, C-Scheme, Jaipur 302007. The candidates are required to send original receipt of application fee, photographs, attested copies of certificates along.
