South Eastern Railway invites applications for recruitment to various posts

South Eastern Railway has invited applications for recruitment to various positions by engaging eligible candidates against scouts and guides quota.

Vacancies-

1. Group 'C'- 2 posts
2. Group 'D' (erstwhile)- 10 posts

Eligibility-
Group 'C'- 

• For NTPC: candidate should have minimum matriculation or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate. The stipulation of 50% marks is not applicable having higher than matriculation qualification and SC/ST candidates.
• For technical categories- candidate should have passed ACT apprenticeship/ITI.
• Certificate of Act apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.

Group 'D'-

• The applicant should have passed class 10th from a recognized board/ university or ITI.
• Besides these qualifications,  candidates for both the posts should be a president's scouts/ guides/ ranger/ rover or Himalayan wood badge holder

Salary-

• Group 'C'- Selected candidates will be paid in Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/ Rs.2000 per month
• Group 'D'- Selected candidates will be paid in Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 per month

Age limit-

• Group 'C'- The minimum age of the applying candidate is 18 years and a maximum of 30 years.
• Group 'D'- The minimum age of the applying candidate is 18 years and a maximum of 30 years.

Selection Process-

• Candidates will be subjected to medical examination by railway medical authority prior to their appointment after due selection.

• Interested and eligible candidates should fill the application online in a prescribed format and submit it to the official address.
• An examination fee of Rs.100/- has to be paid by UR and OBC candidates for completing the registration.
