Archaeological Survey of India to recruit Research Associates and Data Entry Operators

Archaeological Survey of India has invited applications from eligible candidates for Research Associates and Data Entry operator posts.

• Name of the Post:
• Research Associate: 80 posts
• Data Entry Operators: 84 posts

Eligibility Criteria

• Research Associate: Candidates should have a Master's Degree in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology or Medieval Indian History/ Archaeology/ Anthropology from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India, Knowledge of Documentation of Antiquities and Basic knowledge of computer.
• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get Rs 20,000 per month.
• Data Entry Operator: Candidates should have 10+2 qualification from a recognised Board or equivalent with the knowledge of computer Application. With minimum typing speed 8000 key depressions per hour.
• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get Rs 12,000 per month.
• Selection Procedure:Candidates will be selected on the basis of test/interview by the selection committee. 
• How to apply: Interested and eligible candidate have to apply in the prescribed format with latest passport-size photograph along with self-attested copies of educational/technical qualification to the Director NMMA. The application must reach within 15 days from the day of advertisement.
