Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation announces vacancies for various posts

Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation has notified job openings for engineers, managers and accountants. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the given format.

Vacancy details:

Total number of posts: 73

Name of the post:

• Assistant Engineer: 15
• Junior Engineer: 53
• Assistant Manager: 2
• Assistant Accountant: 3

Eligibility criteria:

• Assistant Engineer: The candidates should have either a B.Tech or a B.E from a recognised university or institution. They must have a minimum score of 60 percent in their qualifying examination
• Junior Engineer: The candidates should have a three-year Diploma a recognised university or institution. They must have a minimum score of 60 percent in their qualifying examination
• Assistant Manager: The candidates must have qualified the examination for CA or CWA
• Assistant Accountant: The candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in the commerce field from a recognised university or institution. They must have a minimum score of 60 percent in their qualifying examination

Age limit: The candidates should be within the age group of 21 years to 28 years as on May 1, 2015.

Pay scale:

• Assistant Engineer: The candidates will receive a monthly salary in the pay band of Rs 20,600 to Rs 46,500
• Junior Engineer: The candidates will receive a monthly salary in the pay band of Rs 13,500 to Rs 25,520
• Assistant Manager: The candidates will receive a monthly salary in the pay band of Rs 20,600 to Rs 46,500
• Assistant Accountant: The candidates will receive a monthly salary in the pay band of Rs 10,170 to Rs 18,500

1. Selection process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Test (CBT). This exam will be conducted at Noida, Allahabad, Kanpur, Meerut, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

1. Application procedure: The application form is available at www.lmrcl.com. The candidates are required to submit the online form and pay the fee in order to complete their registration.
2. Application fee: The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 400 (General and OBC categories) and Rs 100 (SC and ST). The payment can be made through credit/debit card, net banking or bank challan.

• May 21 to June 21: Submission of online application form
• June 24 to June 28: Candidates can download admit cards
• June 28: Date of examination
