Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

1. Traffic Inspector: The candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university/should have undergone training in a recognised railway Institute as a Commercial Apprentice. 
2. Yard Master: The candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university with five years working experience in Railway.
3. Area Controller: The candidate should be a graduate with three years of railway experience as Senior Train Number Check.
4. Yard Supervisor: The candidate should be a graduate with five years of experience in railway operational wing as a Shunting Zamadar.
5. Shunting Zamindar: The candidate should be a graduate with at least three years of railway operational working experience.

Age limit:

1. Traffic Inspector: The candidate should age 32 years as on December 31, 2014
2. Yard Master: The candidate should age 32 years as on December 31, 2014
3. Area Controller: The candidate should age 32 years as on December 31, 2014
4. Yard Supervisor: The candidate should age 32 years as on December 31, 2014
5. Shunting Zamindar: The candidate should age 32 years as on December 31, 2014

Pay scale: 

1. Traffic Inspector: Rs 23,600 to Rs 56,300
2. Yard Master: Rs 21,000 to Rs 53,500
3. Area Controller: Rs 19,100 to Rs 51,100
4. Yard Supervisor: Rs 19,100 to Rs 51,100
5. Shunting Zamindar: Rs 16,300 to Rs 38,200
