ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) has invited applications for the recruitment of 102 Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science Engineers. Candidates having completed B.Tech/B.E with first class distinction can apply online for the posts before March 13, 2014.
Vacancies
  • Scientist/Engineer Electronics: 35 posts
  • Scientist/Engineer Mechanical: 50 posts
  • Scientist/Engineer: 17 posts

Salary
Pay band for selected candidates will be Rs 15,600-39,100 with grade pay of Rs 5,400. The gross emoluments in the minimum of pay band will at present be approximately Rs 39,900 p.m. In addition, house rent allowance and transport allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively.
Eligibility
Age of the candidate should not be above 35 years. Candidate should also have completed BE/B.Tech or equivalent in the specialization applying for, with first class distinction and minimum aggregate percentage of 65 per cent. Those candidates appearing for B.E/B Tech final examinations may apply provisionally.
Selection
Final selection for the Scientist/Engineer posts will be made on the basis of a written test and interview. Candidates will be short listed for the written test on the basis of their academic merits and bio data and candidates successfully clearing the written test will be called for interview.

  1. Eligible candidates can apply for the Scientist/Engineer posts by duly filling in the online application form available at the ISRO website.
  2. Application fees are to be paid through challan at any branch of State Bank of India. After successfully submitting the application fees, the receipt is to be sent to the given ISRO address to complete application.
