GGSIU to recruit Junior Research Fellows and Field Assistants for a 3 year Environment project

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) has invited applications for the recruitment of two Junior Research Fellows and one Field Assistant, for a three year time-bound project. The project under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, National Natural Resources Management System (MoEF-NNRMS) is a funded research project titled "An ecosystem approach for management of Bhindawas and Khaparwas Wetlands, Haryana using geospatial techniques." Last date for application is February 21, 2014.

Vacancies
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 2 posts
Eligibility: Candidate should have completed M.Sc. / M. Tech. in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geography / Environmental Studies / Environmental Management / Biodiversity & Conservation / Wildlife / Natural Resource Management / Zoology / Botany / any other area of Life Science with NET qualification.

Salary: For a candidate qualified with M.Sc. and NET / M. Tech. Professional qualification: Rs 16,000 per month (for first two years) and Rs 18,000 per month for third year and for candidate qualified with M.Sc and NET qualification: Rs 12,000 per month for first two years and Rs 14,000 per month for third year.

Field Assistant (FA): 1 post
Eligibility: Candidate should have completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences.
Salary: Rs 8,000 per month (Consolidated).

Selection 
Candidates short listed on basis of merit will be selected for the post on basis of performance in interview.
