Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) has invited applications for the recruitment of two Junior Research Fellows and one Field Assistant, for a three year time-bound project. The project under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, National Natural Resources Management System (MoEF-NNRMS) is a funded research project titled "An ecosystem approach for management of Bhindawas and Khaparwas Wetlands, Haryana using geospatial techniques." Last date for application is February 21, 2014.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 2 posts
 Candidate should have completed M.Sc. / M. Tech. in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geography / Environmental Studies / Environmental Management / Biodiversity & Conservation / Wildlife / Natural Resource Management / Zoology / Botany / any other area of Life Science with NET qualification.
Salary: For a candidate qualified with M.Sc. and NET / M. Tech. Professional qualification: Rs 16,000 per month (for first two years) and Rs 18,000 per month for third year and for candidate qualified with M.Sc and NET qualification: Rs 12,000 per month for first two years and Rs 14,000 per month for third year.
Field Assistant (FA): 1 post
 Candidate should have completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences.
Salary: Rs 8,000 per month (Consolidated).


Candidates short listed on basis of merit will be selected for the post on basis of performance in interview.
