Reserve bank of India has invited applications for the post of Assistant/ Office Attendant under  the

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate applying for the Assistant post should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline and should be from the university within the recruitment zone.

Candidates for the Office Attendant posts should be at least 10th passed within the recruitment zone.

Candidates for both the posts should fall in between 18 to 26 years as on July 1, 2014.

Pay Scale:
  • Assistant: Rs. 22, 732 per month                            
  • Office Assistant: Rs. 15, 631 per month.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of selection trails and then they have to appear for the interviews . Inter-alia, verification of character and antecedents, medical fitness and verification of sports certificate to the Bank's satisfaction is essential for the final selection of the candidate.

How to apply:
In order to apply, candidate should fill the prescribed application format available on the official website. Applicant should fill all the necessary details in the application form along with the DD, latest passport size photograph, photo copies of the relevant certificates and the certificates relating to the merit in sports from authorities like District/State sports association should be sent by post to the regional director, Reserve Bank of India, recruitment section at the respective centre as stated in the notification before July 21, 2014. Application forms can also be submitted at the special box kept at the bank's building between 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. excluding Saturdays and Sundays and any other public holidays. The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs100/- in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft (DD) in favour of the Reserve Bank of India payable at the centre where the application form is submitted. Eligibility criteria:
  • Assistant: The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university within the recruitment zone. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 26 years as on July 1, 2014. 
  • Office Attendant: The candidate should have passed their class 10th examination from a school within the recruitment zone. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 26 years as on July 1, 2014.
Note: Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

  • The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of 'Reserve Bank of India' and payable at respective centre where the application is submitted.
