Proof and Experimental Establishment (PXE), under Defence Research
and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence has invited
applications for the recruitment
of 2 Senior Research Fellows and 3 Junior Research Fellows. Selected
candidates will be hired for an initial period of two years at the
Chandipur, Balasore branch in Odisha. Candidates having qualified UGC/
CSIR/ NET/ GATE will be given preference for the recruitment. Last date

- Salary: Stipend of Rs 18,000 per month
- Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 32 years. The candidate should have a M.Tech Degree in in Electronics (Optics/ Optronics desirable) or in Electronics/ Electronics and Instrumentation (experience in operation of sensor based instrumentation desirable).
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 3 posts
- Salary: Stipend of Rs 16,000 per month
- Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 28 years. The candidate should have a BE/B.Tech in Electronics/ Electronics and Instrumentation (Experience in operation of sensor based instrumentation desirable) or B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology (Experience in IT Security and networking desirable) or B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology (Experience in Software Engg., DBMS and Programming desirable).
- Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in an interview.
