Educational Qualification

1. Engineer- Candidates applying for the post should possess Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or information technology or electronics & communication branch, with an aggregate of 60 percent from a recognised university or institute.
2. Technician- ITI (NCVT) in electronics mechanical/radio & TV / electrical/PASAA/ 'O' Level computer course equivalent to Foundation Level Course with 60 percent marks and minimum of an year apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act. 1961.
3. Age Limit: Candidates applying for the post of engineer must not exceed the age limit of 30 and for the post of technicians limit is 40 years.

Pay Scale

1. Engineer- Selected candidates will be place in the pay scale of Rs 16400-40500
2. Technician- Selected candidates will be place in the pay scale of Rs 7300-18100

Eligibility

For Engineers:

1. Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their GATE 2015 score in respective disciplines. On the basis of their relevant score, applicants will be further selected for, Group Discussion/Group Task and Personal Interview.
2. Salary: Selected candidates will receive a starting pay of Rs 24,900 per month.
3. How to apply: Applicant will first have to register for the GATE 2015 exam. After receiving the GATE registration number, candidates can register online at IOCL.
