Eligibility criteria:
Age limit:
  • Senior Consultants: N.A.
  • Research Associates: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 45 years.
  • Senior Research Fellow: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 28 years.
  • Junior Research Fellow: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 25 years.
  • Data Analyst: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 35 years.
  • Helper: N.A.
Educational qualification:
  • Senior Consultants: Candidates applying for this post should possess a Masters Degree in Science or they should have acquired M.Tech degree in Engineering or they should have done B. Tech. with Ph. D in Solar Energy. Candidates are also required to have a working experience of at least 20 years in the relevant field.
  • Research Associates: Candidates applying for this post should possess a B. Tech degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & communication/ Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/ Solar Energy or they should have a Msc degree in Physics or Renewable Energy or the candidates should have acquired a M. Tech degree in Energy or Solar Energy or they should have PhD in the field of Solar energy.
  • Senior Research Fellow: Candidates applying for this post should possess a B. Tech degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & communication/ Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/ Solar Energy or they should have a Msc degree in Physics or Renewable Energy or the candidates should have acquired a M. Tech degree in Energy or Solar Energy. 

  • Junior Research Fellow: Candidates applying for this post should possess a B. Tech degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & communication/ Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/ Solar Energy or they should have a Msc degree in Physics or Renewable Energy or candidates should have acquired a M. Tech degree in Energy or Solar Energy.
  • Data Analyst: Candidates applying for this post should be graduates and should have two years of experience in data entry. Also, the candidates should have the knowledge of MS office, visual basic, mat-lab.
  • Helper: Candidates applying for this post should have passed Class X. They should have acquired experience in office work like file movement, xeroxing, attending phone calls, mail received/ dispatch.

Pay scale
  • Senior Consultants: Rs 75,000 per month
  • Research Associates: Rs 50,000 per month
  • Senior Research Fellow: Rs 25,000 per month
  • Junior Research Fellow: Rs 20,000 per month
  • Data Analyst: Rs 20,000 per month
  • Helper: Rs 15,000 per month
Selection process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the interview.

  • In order to apply, candidates are required to send the duly filled application form to the (Dr. Praveen Saxena), Director General, National Institute of Solar Energy, Gwal Pahari, Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, Gurgaon - 122003 (Haryana). Candidates should send attested photocopies of documents in support of educational qualifications, age and experience along with the application forms.
