The National Archives of India, New Delhi has invited applications for recruitment from eligible and interested candidates for various Supervisors, Archival Assistant, Mender and other posts. 

The National Archives of India is the repository of the non-current records of the government of India and is holding them in trust for the use of administrators and scholars.

ELIGIBILITY

• Age Limit: Please refer to the official notification for postwise age limits.
• Educational Qualification: Those interested in applying must have a Master's degree in Modern Indian History. For an in-depth detail regarding the rest of the posts, please refer to the official notification.
• Selection Procedure: An interview and a written test would be the basis to shortlist candidates.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualifications:

1. Supervisor: The candidates applying for this post are required to be retired archivist. They should hold an experience in private archives, editing, cataloguing, arrangement and listing of records, preparation of reference media.
2. Archival assistants: The candidates applying for this post should have a Masters degree in History and a diploma in archives and records management from National Archives of India, New Delhi.
3. Helper: The candidates applying for this post should have passed class 8th.  

Age limit:

1. Supervisor: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 65 years. 
2. Archival assistants: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 40 years. 
3. Helper: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 30 years.

Salary:

1. Supervisor: Rs 30, 000 per month.
2. Archival assistants: Rs 22, 000 per month.
3. Helper: Rs 9, 000 per month.
