Eligibility:
Educational qualification:

1. Professional Assistant: Candidates applying should have M.Lib.Sc/M.L.I.Sc degree or equivalent with 50 per cent marks
2. Senior Assistant: Candidates applying should be a graduate or a post graduate in any discipline
3. Social Worker: Candidates applying for the post must have a post graduate Degree in Social work with second Division from a recognized University
4. Semi Professional Assistant:  Candidates applying for the post must be a graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce or any other discipline

Age limits:

1. Professional Assistant, Social Worker, Semi Professional Assistant: Candidates age should be 35 years Senior Assistant, Assistant, Junior Library & Information Assistant and Dispatch Rider: Candidates age should be 30 years
2. Junior Assistant and M.T.S-Library: Candidates age should be 27 years

2. Professional assistant (Library): The candidates applying for this post should possess an M.Lib.Sc/ M.LI.Sc. degree from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks.
3. Semi professional assistant (Library): The candidates applying for this post should be graduates with at least 50 per cent marks. The candidates should have acquired an M.Lib.Sc/ M.LI.Sc. degree from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks. Also, the candidates should have completed a six-month course in computer application.
4. Laboratory attendant computer (MTS): The candidates applying for this post should have passed matriculation with Science stream.
5. Library attendant (MTS): The candidates applying for this post should have passed class 10th. Also, the candidates should possess a certificate in library science/ library and information science.
