Staff Selection Commission, Karnataka-Kerala region released a recruitment notification inviting eligible candidates to fill various posts. Candidates matching the eligibility criteria can apply for the post latest by December 12, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Data Processing Assistant:

• Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have done Master's degree in computer applications or computer science or M.Tech (with specialization in computer applications) or BE / B.Tech in information technology or computer engineering or computer science or computer technology from a recognized university or institute.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
• Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs 4600.

Assistant Drugs Inspector

• Educational Qualifications: Degree in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
• Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200.

Junior Technical Assistant

• Educational Qualifications: Certificate in Forest Rangers course from any recognized institute / Graduate in Science / Computer Science.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years
• Pay Scale: Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200.

Data Entry Operator

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics / Mathematical Statistics / Computer science of a recognized university or equivalent.
• Should possess a speed of not less than 800 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 25 years

• Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2800
• Selection Procedure: Candidate's applications will be screened on the basis of qualifications, academic records, percentage of marks etc. Those selected will be required to undergo a written proficiency test.

Eligibility-

• Data Processing Assistant-
• The candidate should have done Master's Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or M.Tech or BE / B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology from a recognised University or Institute
• The candidate should have a degree in BE / B.Tech in Electronics or Electronics and Communication from a recognised University or Institute with two years experience in Electronic Data Processing work including experience of actual Programming
• Assistant Drugs Inspector-
• The applicant should have a degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with Specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognised University or equivalent.

Salary-

• Data Processing Assistant- Selected candidates will be paid in a pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-
• Assistant Drugs Inspector-Selected candidates will be paid in a pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-

Age limit-

• The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 30 years  for both the posts at the time of applying.

Selection Process-

• Eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their educational qualifications, academic records, percentage of marks, etc., or through a screening test at the discretion of the Commission.
