A Society under A & N Administration has invited applications are invited from the eligible local candidates for the appointment of Trainees having science background in Physics/Chemistry /Mathematics in the Science Centre, Port Blair on contract basis for a period of one year.

The advertisement clearly notifies that the selected candidates cannot have a claim for regular appointment as their services shall be terminated immediately on completion of one year with effect from their date of reporting to the Science Centre, Port Blair and fresh candidates would be taken after following required procedure.

Monthly Salary:

• 12,000/- Consolidated for Graduates 
• 15,000/- Consolidated for Post Graduates 

Educational Qualification 

• Candidates should have completed Post-Graduation / Graduation in Physics, 
• Chemistry or Mathematics as one of the main subject from a recognized 
• College/University.

Age limit:
Male candidates should be between 18-33 years and female candidates should be 18-38 years.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification shall have to appear for Aptitude test followed by personal interview.

Naval Component Commander (NCC), Andaman & Nicobar Command has invited applications for Group 'C' posts in Naval Units under HQ Andaman & Nicobar Command. Candidates may apply within 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

1. Civilian Motor Driver: 69 Posts

Eligibility Criteria 

1. Candidates should have done Matriculation (Class X Pass) or ITI or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
2. Candidates should possess a valid driving license for driving Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV).
3. Must have at least one year (for post 1) and 03 years (for post 2) of experience in driving such vehicles. Must have knowledge of first line maintenance. And operation of various types of fire appliances (only for post 2).
4. Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.

Age Limit & Relaxation 

• Candidate should be between 18 to 25 years (for post 1 & 3) and 21 to 30 years (for post 2) of age as on last date of receipt of application and age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.

Pay Scale

• Pay Band (PB - 1) and Pay Scale of Rs 5,200/- to Rs 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs 1,900/- Per Month (for post 1 & 3) and Grade Pay of Rs 2,000/- Per Month (for post 2) plus other allowances as admissible.

Selection Procedure

• The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Physical Test or Endurance Test followed with the Written Test/ Trade Test and finally the Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration and will be held at Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
