The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has invited applications for hiring Assistant Engineers

(Civil) (Class-2). Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the post before May 31, 2014.

Pay scale: Rs 9300-34800 (Grade pay- Rs 4,600)

Selection process:

• The applicants will be selected for the advertised post on the basis of their performance in the preliminary test or interview, which will be conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission.

Eligibility criteria:

• The applicant should have a B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized University. The applicant should possess basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed by Gujarat Civil Service. He or she should also have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
• The age of the applicant should not be more than 30 years as on last date of the receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category.
