Indian Air Force (IAR)  has invited applications for recruitment to various posts. The Indian Force has released the recruitment test for group 'X' (Technical) trades and group 'Y' ( automobile technician, ground training instructor and Indian Air Force Police). The interested candidates can apply before April 3.

Eligibility Criterion:

Educational Qualification:

1. For Group 'X' (Technical) Trades: The candidates should have passed intermediate/10+2 or equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Physics and English with at least 50 per cent or candidates should have passed diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a government recognised polytechnic institute with 50 per cent in overall aggregate.
2. For Group 'Y' : The candidates should have passed intermediate/10+2 or equivalent in any stream approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50 per cent in overall aggregate.

• Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written test, physical fitness test, interview and medical examination.

Pay Scale:

• Group 'X' - The candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs 24,900 per month.
• Group 'Y' - The candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs 20,500 per month.
