Join Indian Force: Recruitment for Airman

Indian Air Force (IAR)  has invited applications for recruitment to various posts. The Indian Force has released the recruitment test for group 'X' (Technical) trades and group 'Y' ( automobile technician, ground training instructor and Indian Air Force Police). The interested candidates can apply before April 3.

Eligibility Criterion:

Educational Qualification:

1. For Group 'X' (Technical) Trades: The candidates should have passed intermediate/10+2 or equivalent qualification in Mathematics, Physics and English with at least 50 per cent or candidates should have passed diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a government recognised polytechnic institute with 50 per cent in overall aggregate.
2. For Group 'Y' : The candidates should have passed intermediate/10+2 or equivalent in any stream approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50 per cent in overall aggregate.

• Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written test, physical fitness test, interview and medical examination.

Pay Scale:

• Group 'X' - The candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs 24,900 per month.
• Group 'Y' - The candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs 20,500 per month.

1. How to Apply: The eligible candidates can appear for the recruitment rally and can take the necessary documents i.e.seven passport size photographs, self attested copies of matriculation passing certificate, mark sheers, intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination passing certificate, all original documents at 14 Airmen selection center, Air Force, VII/302-B, Vayu Sena Road, Kakkanad, Kochi (Kerala) by post so as to reach before the closing date.
