Age limit:

• Junior geographical assistant: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 25 years.
• Statistical assistant: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 25 years.
• Technical assistant: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 27 years.
• Research assistant: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 30 years.
• Assistant pharmacognocist: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 25 years.
• Assistant chemist: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 25 years.
• Assistant biochemist: Candidates applying for this post should age between 18 to 25 years.

Educational qualification:

• Junior geographical assistant: Candidates applying for this post should have acquired a Bachelor's degree in Geography/Statistics/Mathematics from a recgonised university.
• Statistical assistant: Candidates applying for this post should have acquired a Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics from a reputed university.
• Technical assistant: Candidates applying for this post should have passed intermediate science or equivalent examination or the candidate should have a diploma in printing from a recognised university with at least two years of experience in camera operation, retouching and offset printing.
• Research assistant: Candidates applying for this post should have acquired a degree in Geography or Geology from a concerned university.
• Assistant pharmacognocist: Candidates applying for this post should have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science with Botany and Chemistry or B.Pharma.
• Assistant chemist: Candidates applying for this post should have acquired a degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject.
• Assistant biochemist: Candidates applying for this post should have acquired a degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject.

Selection process: Candidates will be short listed on the basis of their performances in the interview/personality test/ proficiency test/skill test.
Pay scale:

• Junior geographical assistant: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 per month.
• Statistical assistant: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 per month.
• Technical assistant: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 per month.
• Research assistant: Rs 9,300 - Rs 34,800 per month.
• Assistant pharmacognocist: Rs 9,300 - Rs 34,800 per month.
• Assistant chemist: Rs 9,300 - Rs 34,800 per month.
• Assistant biochemist: Rs 9,300 - Rs 34,800 per month.
