NIT Tiruchirapalli is recruiting Assistant Professors: 40 posts

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli has invited applications form eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor , on contract basis, in various departments. Interested and eligible candidates are required to send in their job applications on or before May 15, 2014.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates should hold a Ph.D degree with first class marks in the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout the career. Seven non-compoundable advance increments are admissible.

Selection process:

1. Candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised post on the basis of their performance in the interview. Only shortlised candidates will be called for interview.
