Intermediate passed with one year diploma in computer application.
or
Degree in any subject with the knowledge in computers (MS  word, excel, power point etc.)
Experience
Three years experience in any government organisation.
Selection Procedure
The candidates applying for the post will be called for written and skill test after scrutinising their eligibility. Minimum passing marks for general category is 40 per cent and for ST candidates is 35 per cent. Candidates with qualifying marks will be selected.

Candidates need to download the form from the website and submit it to the Member Secretary, SOVTECH, BRAIT Campus, Pahargaon, Port Blair- 744103 before or on February 27.
With the form attested copies of testimonials (including certificates and documents) have to be attached.

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : 

1. Assistant Registrar: Post Graduate degree with at least 55% marks
2. Technical Officer: PhD in Science or Engineering, or post graduate in the relevant field in Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
3. Administrative Assistant: Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% of marks with knowledge of computer applications OR 3 year Diploma (after 10+2 years of school) in Secretarial/Commercial Practice (English) with minimum 50% of marks.
4. Security Supervisor: Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks
5. Junior Technical Assistant: Bachelor's degree in appropriate field with minimum 55% marks OR 3 year Diploma in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks .

Selection Process :

• Assistant Registrar/Technical Officer: The selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
• Security Supervisor, Administrative Assistant & Junior Technical Assistant: The process of selection will comprise a job-oriented test (practical and/or written) followed by an interview. Additional weightage may be given for qualifications that exceed the minimum requirements.
