IISC invites application for recruitment to 32 posts

The Indian Institute of Sciences (IISC), Bangalore has issued a latest recruitment notification for Administrative / Technical Positions such as Technical Officer, Assistant Registrar, Junior Technical Assistant (JTA), Administrative Assistant, Security Supervisor to fill up 32 vacancies. Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification : 

1. Assistant Registrar: Post Graduate degree with at least 55% marks
2. Technical Officer: PhD in Science or Engineering, or post graduate in the relevant field in Engineering with minimum 55% marks.
3. Administrative Assistant: Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% of marks with knowledge of computer applications OR 3 year Diploma (after 10+2 years of school) in Secretarial/Commercial Practice (English) with minimum 50% of marks.
4. Security Supervisor: Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks
5. Junior Technical Assistant: Bachelor's degree in appropriate field with minimum 55% marks OR 3 year Diploma in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks .

• Assistant Registrar: Below 45 years 
• Technical Officer: Below 35 years
• Administrative Assistant & Junior Technical Assistant: Below 26 years 
• Security Supervisor: Below 40 years 

Selection Process :

• Assistant Registrar/Technical Officer: The selection will be based on the performance in the interview.
• Security Supervisor, Administrative Assistant & Junior Technical Assistant: The process of selection will comprise a job-oriented test (practical and/or written) followed by an interview. Additional weightage may be given for qualifications that exceed the minimum requirements.

The candidates should send a duly filled in application form along with requisite documents through speed post to Deputy Registrar (Council Section), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on or before April 04 by 5 PM.
