Programme: Teachers training scheme
Duration of M.Tech.and Ph.D. programs: Maximum 8 years
Nature of programme: The programme is meant to appoint "Trainee Teachers" (TT) on contractual basis at National Institute of Technologies (NIT) subject to enrollment of the Candidates in Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) for M.Tech and Ph.D. programme.

Educational qualifications:
- Candidates applying should possess B.Tech degree in relevant discipline.
Pay Scale:
- Candidates will be paid a remuneration of Rs 37, 000 per month.
Selection procedure:
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the interview/ written test.
- Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their application forms, eligibility criteria etc. The short listed candidates will be called for written test. On qualifying through the written test, the candidates will be called for interview.
- The written test and interviews shall be conducted at IIT Roorkee. The schedule of the written exam and interviews will be displayed on the institute's official website.
