Indian Navy has invited applications for Short Service Commission (SSC) recruitment at the post of pilot/ observer in the executive branch of the Indian Navy at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. Only unmarried, Indian citizens can apply. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by April 11.

Eligibility:
Educational qualification:
  • General candidates: Candidates applying for the post should possess a graduate degree in any discipline with at least 70 per cent marks. Candidates should have also qualified 10 +2 with Mathematics and Physics.
  • CPL Holders: Candidates under this category should possess a graduate degree in any discipline with at least 60 per cent marks. Candidates should have also qualified 10 +2 with Mathematics and Physics. Also, the candidates should hold a valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India).
Pay Scale:
  • Rs 15, 600-39, 100 grade pay Rs 6, 000 and varies as per the rank.

 Age limit:
  • General: Candidates should age between 19 and 24 years.
  • CPL Holders: Candidates should age between 19 and 25 years.
Physical standards:
  • Height and Weight: Men should have a minimum height of 162.5 cms. Women, on the other hand, should have a minimum height of 152 cms.
  • Eye sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6.
