The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of tradesmen mate, firemen and safaiwala. The interested and eligible candidates eligible can apply before April 3.

Eligibility criterion:
  • Educational qualification: The candidates must possess a degree in relevant discipline and must be physically fit.
  • Age limit: The age limit of the candidates applying for the above post must be between 18 to 25 years (UR), 18 to 28 years (OBC) and 18 to 30 years (SC).
  • Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and interview.
  • How to apply: The interested and eligible candidates can applications in a defined format along with self attested copies of required documents i.e. certificates of educational qualification, date of birth, caste, disability certificate in case of candidates belongs to PH category issued by CMO/Civil Surgeon of government hospital and discharge certificate for ex servicemen  attested by Gazetted Officer. The candidates can send it to the Commandant, 23 Field Ammunition Depot, PIN - 909723, C/O 56 APO by post so as to reach before the closing date.

Educational qualification:
  • Radiographer: Candidates should have qualified class 12 with Science stream. Candidates should have also acquired a three-year diploma in radiography.
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Candidates should have qualified class 12 with Science stream. Also, candidates should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
  • Firemen: Candidates applying for this post should have passed class 10. They should be physically fit and should be capable of performing strenuous duties.
  • Durwan: Candidates applying for this post should have passed class 10. They should be physically fit and should be capable of performing strenuous duties.
  • Ward Sahayak: Candidates should have passed class 10. They should be physically fit and should be capable of performing strenuous duties.

Pay Scale:
  • Radiographer: Pay Band (PB - 2) and pay scale of Rs 9, 300 to Rs 34, 800 plus grade pay of Rs 4, 200 per month.
  • Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Pay Band (PB - 1) and pay scale of Rs 5, 200 to Rs 20, 200 plus grade pay of Rs 1, 900 per month.
  • Firemen: Pay Band (PB - 1) and pay scale of Rs 5, 200 to Rs 20, 200 plus grade pay of Rs 1, 900 per month.           
  • Durwan: Pay Band (PB - 1) with grade pay of Rs 1, 800 month.
  • Ward Sahayak: Pay Band (PB - 1) with grade pay of Rs 1, 800 month.
