UPSC recruits for 54 vacant posts 2014

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited job applications for 54 various vacant posts. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply for the posts latest by May 15, 2014.

Assistant Professor (Civil Engineering): 4 posts

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as on closing date of application.
• Education: The candidate should have completed his or her B.E./B. Tech and M.E./M. Tech from a recognised university/institute in Civil Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech.

Assistant Professor (Computer Science and Engineering): 4  posts

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as on closing date of application.

• Education: The candidate should have completed his or her B.E./B. Tech and M.E./M. Tech from a recognised university/institute in Computer Science with first class or equivalent either in B.E. / B. Tech or M.E. / M. Tech.

Assistant Professor (Electronics and Communication Engineering): 4 posts

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as on closing date of application.
• Education: The candidate should have completed his or her B.E./B. Tech and M.E./M. Tech from a recognised university/institute in Electronics and Communication Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech.

Assistant Professor (Electrical Engineering): 1 post

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 35 years of age as on closing date of application.
• Education: The candidate should have completed his or her B.E./B. Tech and M.E./M. Tech from a recognised university/institute in Electrical Engineering with first class or equivalent either in B.E./B. Tech or M.E./M. Tech.

Assistant Director Grade-II (Economic Investigation): 29 posts

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 30 years of age as on closing date of application.
• Education: The candidate should have completed his or her Master's degree in Economics from a recognised university or equivalent.

Administrative Officer: 10 posts

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 30 years of age as on closing date of application.
• Education: The candidate should have completed his or her Bachelor's degree of a recognised university.

Assistant Director General/Director: Two posts

• Age: The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age as on closing date of application.

• Educational: The candidate has to be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. The candidate should also possess a Diploma or Certificate of foreign languages course other than English for a minimum period of six months.
