Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar, is recruiting for the post of Engineers (Executive & Assistant) on a deputation basis. Last date to send in applications is March 14, 2014.
Vacancy details:
Total vacancies: Two posts
1. Executive Engineer (Civil): One post
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): One post
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): One post
Eligibility criteria:
The applicant should be a qualified engineer in service of Central government, State government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies to be eligible for the post.
The applicant must be in the same/ similar cadre of the parent organization which he/she is applying for. The candidate should also possess adequate experience in construction of large building projects.
Selection procedure:
Eligible candidates will be appointed on deputation basis, initially for a period of two years. Shortlisted candidates will be summoned for presentation/ Interview.
Travel allowance:
Candidates who reside outside Ahmedabad shall be reimbursed travel expenses from place of residence to Ahmedabad and back. The reimbursement will be done as per instruction in the call letter, on production of proof of booking.
