State Institute of Fine Arts (SIFA) is recruiting for the
position of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and
Lecturer in various disciplines on direct recruitment/ contract/

2. Associate Professor (Animation & Multimedia, Painting, Applied Art): 3 posts
3. Assistant Professor (Painting, Applied Art): 2 posts
4. Lecturer (Painting, Sculpture, Animation & Multimedia, Interior Design): 4 posts
Eligibility criteria:
1. Professor:
Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree (professional) in Fine Arts + Master's degree (professional) in respective area + qualified UGC NET (if applicable) + Ph.D in respective field. Applicant should also have at least 15 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in an academic institution or industry.
2. Associate Professor:
Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree (professional) in Fine Arts + Master's degree (professional) in respective area + qualified UGC NET (if applicable) + Ph.D in respective field. Applicant should also have at least 12 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in an academic institution or industry.
3. Assistant Professor:
Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree (professional) in Fine Arts + Master's degree (professional) in respective area + qualified UGC NET (if applicable). Applicant should also have at least 8 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in an academic institution or industry.
4. Lecturer:
Candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree (professional) in Fine Arts + Master's degree (professional) in respective area + qualified UGC NET (if applicable). Applicant should also have at least two years of relevant post-qualification work experience in an academic institution or industry.
Selection procedure:
In case the number of applications received for the post is large, the organization will conduct a written test to shortlist the candidates for the interview. Candidates will then be selected for the position on the basis of their performance in the interview.
