Indian Navy to recruit Short Service Commission Officer

Indian Navy invited applications from unmarried male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch (General Services/Hydro Cadre) and Technical Branches of the Indian Navy for Dec 2014 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. 2. Electrical (L) Branch: BE/B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Tele Communication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, Control System, Engineering and Power Electronics.

Submarine Specialisation

1. Engineering Branch: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechtronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Aeronautical, Aerospace and B.S. Marine Engineering, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Automation & Robotics, Industrial Engg. & Management and Production Eng.
2. Electrical Branch: BE/B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Control/Telecommunication/Instrumentation/Power Engg/Electronics & Communication/Control System Engg/Power Electronics.

Executive (GS)/Hydro Cadre: Executive (GS/Hydro Cadre): BE/B. Tech in Any discipline.
Age limit: Candidate age must be between 19½ to 25 years for all branches.

Selection Procedure:

1. Higher educational qualification is considered as cut off.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interview scheduled during May - Oct 2014 at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam.
3. The interview is of two stages. Stage I consists of Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and Group Discussions. Stage II consists of Psychological tests, Group task tests and interview.
4. Candidates successful in these two stages will have to undergo Medical Examination.
5. Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be appointed for training as per all India Merit depending on the number of vacancies.

How to apply:

1. Eligible candidates can apply online through www.nausena-bharti.nic.in before March 26, 2014.
2. After submitting online application, an application number will be generated by the system. This application number will automatically appear on the printout form.
3. Candidates are required to take two printouts of the online Application Form having the system generated application number.
4. They should send one copy, after pasting their photograph and signing it on the space provided for the purpose, along with attested copies of 10th & 12th class certificates, mark sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semesters/years, to Post Box No. 04, Chankya Puri PO, New Delhi - 110 021 before 5 April 2014.
