National Sample Survey Office notifies recruitment to 645 posts

National Sample Survey Office has announced recruitment to 645 posts of Field Investigator. The vacancies are available at Field Operations Division (FOD), NSSO, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the given format.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Educational qualification: The candidates should have a graduate degree with Statistics, Mathematics or Economics as one of the subjects in their qualifying exams. They must know English and the local language, and possess basic computer skills.
2. Experience: The candidates who have experience in field data collection and conducting field surveys for a government organisation will be given preference.
3. Age limit: The candidates should be within the age group of 21 years to 30 years as on July 1, 2015.
4. Pay scale: The selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs 16,500 per month.
5. Selection procedure: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their applications. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview round.
