The Reserve Bank of India has notified recruitment for the posts of Assistants in various branches of the bank. The interested and eligible candidates can apply by following the given guidelines:

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualifications:
The interested candidates must have completed their Bachelor's in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks and must have accurate knowledge of word processing.
A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category should either be a graduate from a recognised University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and have an experience of at least 15 years in the service.
The interested candidates should be proficient in the language of the state they're applying to (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language).
Age limit: The interested candidates belonging to the General category should be between 18 to 28 years old.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST category will have an age relaxation of  5 years.
Pay scale: Rs 8,860- Rs 20,100 + allowances.
The eligible candidates will be compensated for house and transport rent as admissible from time to time.
Application procedure:
  • The eligible candidates must visit the official RBI website and click on the option 'Ã?pply Online'
    To register the application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. The candidates will be sent an SMS with their provisional email id and details.
  • The candidates must upload their photograph and signature after scanning the two
  • The candidates must press 'Final Submit' only after a final preview of the application form
  • The last step for the candidates is to click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment.
Selection procedure
  1. The selection of candidates will take place through the procedure of the following:
  2. Online examination
  3. Personal interview
  4. The candidates appearing for the online examination shall be tested on their Logical Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Computer knowledge. The online examination will be for 200 marks. The exam will be available bilingually, that is in both English and Hindi.
  5. Only those candidates will be called for interview who stand sufficiently high in merit on the aggregate marks of the Objective written test.
