National Institute of Technology Hamirpur sends notification for faculty recruitment

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur has invited applications for faculty positions on contract basis in various departments. The appointment shall initially be for one year, which can later be renewed to three years, based on the candidate's performance.

Pay Scale

• The candidates with a Ph.D will be paid a salary of Rs 47,200
• The candidates with M.Tech/ME/M.Arch/M.Phil degree will be paid a salary of Rs 43,500
• The candidates with B.Arch degree will be paid a salary of Rs 40,000

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

• Engineering Department- The candidate must have a first class degree at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) level. 
• Architecture- The candidate must have a first class in both UG and PG level, with or without Ph.D. The candidates can also have a first class at B.Arch
• Mathematics- The candidate must have a Ph.D with a first class at both UG and PG level.

Selection Procedure
The candidates will be shortlisted and then the candidates will be called in for an interview.
