Indian Army to recruit 20 Education Corps

Indian army invites application from Male candidates for grant of Permanent Commission in the Army Education Corps. The course will commence from July 2015 at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun.

Eligibility:

• Educational Qualification: Only those candidates who have passed Post Graduate Degeree MA/M.Sc in the following subjects /M.Com/MCA/MBA with 1st or 2 Division can apply:
• MA in English/Economics/History/Geography/Pol. Science/Philosophy/Psychology/Sociology/Public Administration/Statistics/International Relation/International Studies- 10 Vacancies
• M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Botany/Geology/ Nano Science/Electronics M.com/MCA/MBA- 6 posts
• Foreign language (MA in Chinese/Tibetan/Bumese/Pushto/Dari & Arabic- 4 posts

1.   Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 23 to 27 years at the time of commencement of course.
2. Pay Scale: The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs 21,000 per month.

How to Apply:

• Application can be submitted online using Indian Army's website.
• The following certificates are mandatory to carry in the Selection centre by candidate:   
• One copy of the Print out of application duly signed and affix photograph attested by Govt. Gazetted Officer.
• Attested copy of Matriculation or equivalent certificate for age proof.
• Attested copy of 12th Class certificate and Mark sheet.
• Attested copies of Mark Sheets & Degree certificate of Post Graduate course.
• Attested copy of Mark sheets & Degree certificate of post Graduate Course.

Selection Procedure:

• The candidates will be screened according to their qualification. Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for an interview.
• Candidates will be informed through their registered e-mail id and SMS.
• Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure during Interview which will be of 5 days duration.
• Stage I: Physical Standard- Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards.
• Medical Examination: A candidate recommended by the Service Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by  a Board of Service Medical Officers.

• Application process will be closed on December 31, 2014.
• Interview will be held in Mar/Apr 2015 onwards
