State Bank of India is recruiting Probationary Officers through Associate Banks PO exam. The exam is scheduled to take place in the month of November. A total of 2, 986 candidates will be short listed on the basis of the exam and interview.
The application process for the same had concluded yesterday i.e. September 18, though the offline payment of fees can be done till tomorrow i.e. September 20. In order to make the payment through offline mode, the candidates are required to  present the system generated cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate's details at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee. Registration of the online application will be complete only on payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form. 
The written test will consist of objective-test questions carrying 200 marks testing the candidates' English Language, General Awareness, Marketing & Computers, Data Analysis & Interpretation and Reasoning skills and descriptive test weighing 50 marks. 
Out of the total posts, 415 seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 533 seats for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 743 are booked for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) category and 1, 295 are for the general category candidates.
