The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Chennai, has invited applications for recruitment to its various Project Officers, Associate and Assistant posts.
NIELIT was established to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT).

Pay Scale:
- For Post I - Rs 30,000 to Rs 32,000 per month
- For Post II - Rs 25,000 to Rs 27,000 per month
- For Post III - Rs 16,500 to Rs 17,500 per month
- For Post IV & V - Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,500 per month
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- The age of the candidate should be between 18 and 45 years. Relaxation in age would be provided as per the rules.
Educational Qualification:
- The candidates must have 1st Class BE / Recognised equivalent qualification with not less than 65 per cent marks or M.Tech / M.E / M.Design A qualification in the field of Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, Computer Science, IT is preferred. Candidate with experience in teaching or R&D or relevant product design /development in industry will be preferred.
