Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education invites applications for recruitment of project assistant

Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) has released a recruitment notice inviting eligible candidates to various posts. HBCSE is a National Centre engaged in promoting equity and excellence in science and mathematics education.

Vacancy-

• Project Assistant- 01 post in Astronomy Olympiad cell

Eligibility-

• The applying candidate should have a degree in B.sc with at least 60% marks and 1 yr experience in relevant field, or M. Sc. with at least 60% marks.
• The candidate should also have interest in Astronomy, Experience of using Computers and performing experiments.
• The position is purely temporary, for one year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years.
• The candidate should have interest in Astronomy with the knowledge of using computers, basically MS Office, Word, PageMaker, Photoshop etc.
• As most of the work will be carried out using Marathi as a base language, good knowledge of Marathi with the knowledge of other two, i.e. English and Hindi languages are essential.

• Salary- Selected candidate will be paid consolidated honorarium of Rs. 18,500/- (inclusive of HRA).
• Selection Process- Candidates will be selected on the basis of walk in interview as conducted by the recruitment committee.
