Kerala High Court to appoint 58 Assistants

High Court of Kerala has issued a recruitment notice for appointing eligible candidates to the post of Assistant.

Vacancies-

• There are a total of 58 vacancies for the post of Assistant.

Eligibility-

• The applying candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree, with at least 50 per cent marks for optional subjects no stipulation of marks in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, OR Master's Degree OR Law Degree, awarded or recognised by any of the universities in Kerala. The applicant should also have a basic knowledge of computer operations.

Selection Process-

• Candidates will be recruited directly on the basis of written test and interview.
• The written test will be objective in nature for a total of 100 marks to be answered in OMR sheet.
• Objective test- It will of 75 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections:
• General Knowledge- 50 marks
• Basic Mathematics- 20 marks
• For each incorrect answer 1/3 mark will be deducted.
• Descriptive test- will be of a total of 40 marks to be written on separate answer sheet.
• This test will be for a duration of 30 minutes consisting précis, letter writing and essay.
• Interview- It will be of 10 marks.

Salary-

• Selected candidates will be paid in a pay scale of Rs 13,900-24,040.

• Interested and eligible candidates should fill the application online in a prescribed format as mentioned in the official notification. An application fee of Rs 310 has to be paid in respect of registration.
