The Goa Police Department, Panaji has invited applications for recruitment from eligible and interested candidates for its various posts.

Total Posts: 11

Name of the posts:

1. Stenographer: 6 Posts
2. Lower Division Clerk: 5 Posts

Salary:

1. For Post I - Rs 5200 to 20200 plus Grade pay Rs 2400
2. For Post II - Rs 5200 to 20200 plus Grade pay Rs 1900

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• The age of the applicant must not be exceeding 40 years as on the closing date for receipt of application form . Relaxations would be provided to government servants upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the government.

Educational Qualification:

• The candidates should have passed higher secondary or equivalent from a recognized university or institution. He/She should be a computer literate and must have knowledge in Konkani. 

Selection Procedure:

• A written exam and an interview would be conducted to shortlist candidates.

2. For Post II - Rs 20

• The online applications will begin from August 7, 2014. Candidates have to successfully submit their applications. Candidates have to send their Applications to the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Police Headquarters, Panaji.
