GSO Kalpakkam is one of the constituent units of the DAE, situated 80 km south of Chennai on the coast of Bay of Bengal off the East Coast Road. GSO takes care of the common facilities such as Housing, Medical, Transport, Water Supply, Civil and Electrical maintenance in the DAE townships at Kalpakkam and Anupuram and DAE constituent Units located at Kalpakkam.

Educational Qualifications:
Radio-Diagnosis/Radiology : Candidates should have completed MBBS + MD (Radio-diagnosis/Radiology) or MBBS + DMRD and have at least three-year experience.
Orthopedics: Candidates should have completed MBBS + MS (Orthopedics) or MBBS + D. Ortho and have at least three-year experience.
Pediatrics: Candidates should have completed MBBS + MD (Paediatrics) or MBBS + DCH with at least three-year experience.
Radio-Diagnosis/Radiology : Candidates should have completed MBBS + MD (Radio-diagnosis/Radiology) or MBBS + DMRD and have at least three-year experience.
Orthopedics: Candidates should have completed MBBS + MS (Orthopedics) or MBBS + D. Ortho and have at least three-year experience.
Pediatrics: Candidates should have completed MBBS + MD (Paediatrics) or MBBS + DCH with at least three-year experience.
Application Fee: A non-refundable crossed Demand Draft (DD) on any scheduled banks drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, GSO, Kalpakkam for Rs 50 payable at Kalpakkam. Women candidates, SC/ST candidates, disabled defense personnel and dependents of defense personnel killed in action and ex-servicemen are exempted from the fee.
