Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Kalpakkam announces job vacancies for manager various posts

The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Kalpakkam has invited applications for trade apprentices posts. DAE came into being on August 3, 1954 under the direct charge of the prime minister through a presidential order.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:  

• Total Posts: 22

Name of the posts: 

1. Electrician - 7 posts 
2. Motor Mechanic Vehicle - 4 posts 
3. Ref and AC Mechanic - 3 posts 
4. Fitter - 1 post
5. Plumber - 1 post
6. Carpenter - 2 posts
7. Draftsman (Civil) - 1 post
8. Programming and System Administration Assistant - 3 Posts

Pay Scale:

1. For Post I to IV- Rs 2800 stipend per month.
2. For Post V & VI - Rs 2400 stipend per month (First year) & Rs 2800 per month (Second year).
3. For Post VII - Rs 2800 stipend per month.
4. For Post VIII - Rs 2100 stipend per month.

• Age Limit: The minimum age of the applicants should be 16 years and maximum must be 22 years.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed Class 10/12/Matric/HSc/Diploma Holder in related trade or equivalent from a recognised board/institute.
• Selection Procedure: A written test, trade test and an interview would be conducted to shortlist candidates.
