The Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board was formed in accordance with Section 5 of the Electricity Supply Act 1948 as per the notification published in the gazette of the government of Chhattisgarh dated November 15, 2000.

Pay Scale:
The selected candidates would get a pay scale of Rs 15,025 to 675(11)-22,450-900(8)-29,650-1,250(11)-43,400 P.M.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
The maximum age of the candidate should be 35 years and minimum should be 21 years.
Educational Qualification:
Eligible and interested candidates should have passed degree in Journalism with 50 per cent marks from any recognized university/ institution. Degree course should be approved by UGC. For SC & ST Candidates a degree in Journalism with 40 per cent marks or equivalent qualification from a recognized board / university is required.
Selection Procedure:
An interview and a written test would be conducted to shortlist candidates.
