Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has invited applications for recruitment at various posts. Interested and eligible candidates can walk in for the interview scheduled to be conducted on August 29, 30 and 31.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualifications: 
  1. For Multi Tasking Staff/Multi Tasking Hostel Staff and Hostel Attendant/Lobby Attendant: The candidates applying for either of these posts should have passed Class 10.
  2. For Lady House Keeper: The candidates applying for this post should have qualified Class 12.  
  3. For Library Sector: The candidates applying for either of these posts should have passed Class 10 and should possess a diploma in Library Science.  
  4. For Driver: The candidates applying for either of these posts should have passed Class 10. Also they should have a valid driving licence of motor vehicle.

For Office Assistant-cum-Computer Personnel: The candidates applying for this post should be graduates and should have done at least six months of training on the use of computer for office automation, book keeping and word processing from a certified Institution or they should have done graduation and should have obtained a diploma in computer recognised by AICTE.
  7. For Supervisor: The candidates applying for this post should have done B.Tech. in relevant field and should possess one year of experience. Or the candidates should have a diploma in relevant field with two years of experience or they should have done I.T.I. in relevant field having acquired five years of relevant experience.
  8. For Electrician/Plumbers/Mason: The candidates applying for either of these posts should have passed class 10 or they should have acquired an I.T.I. certificate in relevant field.
  9. For Helpers (Electrician/ Plumbers/ Mason): The candidates applying for either of these posts should have passed class 10.
  10. For Chowkidar: The candidates applying for this post should have passed class 10. Also, the candidates should be physically and mentally fit.
  11. For Halwai: E.Q.: The candidates applying for this post should have passed Class 10. Also, the candidates should possess a certificate or diploma in catering.

Age limit: The candidates applying for either of the posts should be between 18 and 30 years.

Selection process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the interview. The candidates' certificates will be verified after which they shall be called for interview.
