Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Andhra Pradesh issues recruitment notification for various vacant posts

The Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL), Andhra Pradesh has invited applications for 31 posts of caretakers and retainers. HSL was set up in the year 1941 by the Scindia Steam Navigation Company. Presently, this is the largest public sector shipyard in the country and the first yard to obtain ISO 9001-2000 accreditation. The yard has three strategic business units to address its core activities namely - Shipbuilding, Ship Repairs and Submarine Refit.

1. Caretaker - 1 post
2. Retainer - 30 posts

Pay Scale:

1. For Post I - The selected candidates would be getting Rs 6970 to Rs 13700 per month.
2. For Post II - The selected candidates would be getting Rs 15000 to Rs 35000 per month,

 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Applicants' age should not exceed 35 years. Age relaxation would be provided as per the rules.
• Educational Qualification: Those applying for the job should have held Diploma/Degree and graduation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/university.
• Selection Procedure: An interview and a written test would be conducted to shortlist candidates.
