CSIR - Central Road Research Institute invites applications for recruitment

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Central Road Research Institute has released a recruitment notice for inviting eligible candidates to apply for the post of scientist. CRRI is a constituent laboratory of the CSIR and is recognised for training of Highway and Transportation professionals.

Vacancies

• There are a total of 12 positions of a scientist in the areas of:
• Pavement Evaluation and Management - 1
• Rigid Pavement - 2
• Flexible Pavement - 1
• Geotechnical Engineering - 1
• Bridges & Structural Engineering - 2
• Transportation Engineering - 2
• Traffic Engineering and Safety - 2
• Environmental Engineering - 1  

Eligibility

• Candidates should hold a degree in M.E/M.Tech in civil engineering with specialisation in highway Engg./Transportation Engg./Engineering of Infrastructure and Disaster Management.
• The candidate should have done Ph.D in civil engineering in the related field.
• Should have the ability to carry out research and development studies and consultancy projects on all aspects of road asset management such as pavement evaluation, road failure investigations, analysis of maintenance and rehabilitation strategies, road information and maintenance management system, drainage, geo-textiles, bridges, performance evaluation of bridges, intersection design, traffic management, life cycle assessment.
• The maximum age limit of the applying candidate should be 32 years.
