Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has invited applications for recruitment at the post of senior research fellow and technical assistant. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by August 7.

Eligibility criteria:

• Senior research fellow (SRF): The candidates applying for this post are required to have done their M.Pharm/ M.Tech/ MSc (Biotechnology/ Immunology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics) having acquired at least two years of post graduation research experience in Molecular biology/ Pharmacogenomics.
• The candidates who have passed NET/ GATE exam will be preferred. The candidates holding an experience in handling PCR, RT-PCR, DNA sequencing HPLC/ LCMS and a strong background in biostatistics and bioinformatics will be preferred too.

Age limit:

• The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 35 years.

• Technical Assistant: The candidates applying for this post are required to have completed their BSc. Also, the candidates should have completed one year of experience in molecular biology lab.

Age limit:

• The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 30ears.

Pay Scale:

• Senior research fellow (SRH):  Salary of Rs 18, 000 per month + 20 percent HRA as per ICMR rules.
• Technical assistant: Rs 9, 000 per month as per ICMR rules.
