The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore recently announced recruitment for the post of a Junior Research Fellow. Eligible candidates are invited to appear for a walk-in-interview. The recruitment of candidates for this post would be on a temporary basis.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: The applying candidates must have a degree of M.Tech./Master's Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university or institute, the candidate must also have knowledge about the Neurobiology of Schizophrenia and research experience in Wet lab Techniques and in Image Analysis.
- Age Limit: The aspirants must not be more than 30 years of age. Relaxation in the age bar would be applicable as per the rules.
- Pay Scale: Rs.16000 per month + 30 per cent HRA
- Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates would be done on the basis of their performance in the interview.
- How to Apply: The interested and eligible candidates for the above mentioned post may appear for the walk-in interview from 11:00 AM onwards at the Committee Room, Administrative Block, NIMHANS, Bangalore. The candidates need to carry an application form in a prescribed format as mentioned on the official website of the organization along with the latest passport size photograph and original and self attested copies of all relevant certificates/testimonials for verification.
