Eligibility criteria:
  • Age limit:The candidates applying for these posts should not age more than 40 years.

Educational qualifications:
  • Inspector of Schools: The candidates applying for this post should have a Masters degree/ Honours degree in any subject and they should have done BT/ B.Ed/ T.Ed/ CETE from IGNOU.
  • Lecturer: The candidates applying for this post should have a Bachelors degree/ Masters degree in relevant branch.
  • Information & Cultural Officer: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess a degree in Mass Communication/ Journalism. Also, the candidates should have knowledge of culture and history of India with special emphasis on Tripura.
  • Inspecting Officer (Drugs): The candidates applying for this post should have a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology.
Pay scale:
  • Inspector of Schools: Pay Band of Rs 9,570- 30,000 with Grade Pay of Rs 3,500 per month.
  • Lecturer: Pay Band of Rs 15,600- 39,100 with AGP of Rs 5,400 per month.
  • Information & Cultural Officer: Pay Band of Rs 9,570- 30,000 with Grade Pay of Rs 2,600 per month.
  • Inspecting Officer (Drugs): Pay Band of Rs 13,575- 37,000 with Grade Pay of Rs 3,700 per month.

Application Process: In order to apply, the candidates are required to send their duly filled application forms at 'The Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat'. Or the candidates can send their applications along with a self-addressed post card indicating the advertisement no. and name of the post applied for, by post to 'The TPSC Secretariat'.
