Steel Authority of India wants to recruit operator-cum-technician trainees for Research & Development Centre for Iron and Steel (RDCIS) in Ranchi. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post latest by February 5, 2015.
RCDIS at Ranchi is the Corporate R&D unit of SAIL and is the nodal agency for implementing the R&D Master Plan.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have done Matriculation and three years full time Diploma in engineering in any of the following discipline- Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Chemical/ Ceramics, from Government recognized Institue.
- Age Limit: Candidates age should be 28 years for General category, 33 for SC/ST and 31 for OBC.
- Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get Rs 16800-3 perecent -24110.
- Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the written examination. On the basis of their performance in the written examination they will be called for interview.
- Test Centres: Written test will be held at Ranchi and Kolkata.
- Application Fee: Rs 250 for UR/OBC candidates.
- How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through SAIL's website. No other mode of application will be accepted.
