Indian Agricultural Research Institute's (IARI) recruitment for administrative posts begins

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi has invited applications for recruitment for its administrative posts at IARI HQ and  its regional station which is under the administrative control of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)

1. Stenographer Gr-III:  7 posts
2. Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 4 posts

Eligibilty Criteria
Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have passed 12th standard or equivalent from any recognized board or university.

Age Limit:

• Age should be between 18 to 27 as on July 1, 2013 for UR category. Relaxation would be provided for SC/ST/OBC/PH and Ex-serviceman as per the rules. The upper age limit relaxed up to 45 years in case of serving regular employees of ICAR.

Selection Procedure:

1. For Stenographer Gr-III post: An efficiency test would be conducted in which the candidates will be given one English or Hindi dictation at 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes. The
   candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on computer.  
2. For Lower Division Clerk (LDC) post: An efficiency test which would be conducted that would consist of a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word. Knowledge of computer operations.

  fulfill the criteria/essential qualification, age etc. as prescribed for the post alongwith attested copies of caste certificate applicable for central government jobs. Application Fee:

• Application form must accompany with a bank draft of 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty Only) (Non refundable) drawn in favour of Director, IARI, payable at New Delhi. No other means of payment i.e. IPO/ money orders will be accepted and such of the application will be rejected outright.
